My latest novel, The Compass Killer (#4 in The Serial Killer Anthology), has received some glowing reviews, and I’m happy to share them with you. My books are available on Amazon as ebooks, paperbacks and on KU.

It is the story of a serial killer but it is so much more. The story compelled me to keep reading and I’m so glad I did. The last chapter is worth every other page I read and I defy you to see it coming. It proves that perception is everything. I can’t wait to see what Mr. Geczi has planned next. I know whatever it is, I will be reading it.

This story will have you holding your breath waiting for the final reveal. There are revelations … I didn’t see coming and that certainly put the story into a different light. I loved the fast pace and would certainly recommend it to other readers who love high suspense and drama.

The serial killer series … is interesting and exciting, and like prior novels in in the series, Compass Killer is not the typical narrative of solving a crime and applying punishment. The psychological states of the characters are well-developed starting with the serial killer Travis and continuing with the pastor, police detectives, and others. The four novels in the series are standalone books but there are interesting thematic connections between them. This is an excellent novel.

It had me up half the night to finish it. It had great twists and turns I wasn’t expecting, and the murder descriptions weren’t graphic, which I prefer. I liked the way the author makes you think about why people turn out the way they do, and that sometimes you don’t know what you think you know. A gripping psychological thriller which will be on my mind for a long while.

At times, the unfolding story is grim, but the investigation yields unexpected results and throws a new light on (a) violent life. There are some unexpected twists in the story, keeping readers guessing as the story races toward a denouement no one is likely to see coming. Highly recommended.

As I approached the final pages of The Compass Killer, I was surprised at the fabulous ending. I never saw it coming. Well done, Michael.

The author did not disappoint in the next book in The Serial Killer Anthology.

The result is surprising and disturbing – up until and perhaps especially the last page. I recommend this book to anyone who likes mysteries and psychological thrillers.
