Geczi continues his intricate thriller writing … ending worth star of its own, because as much as I hate it, I love it … mesmerizing and terrifying … hits home … strong characters and clever plot work pull readers in … readers who enjoy FBI thrillers, crime thrillers, and psychological mysteries will find much to appreciate here … highly recommended … water bottles contaminated and sent to three states, creating a fireball effect throughout the country … creates riots in cities and states … all in a plot for revenge. Strong characters, especially the Female FBI Agent … there are no winners in the end … is revenge worth it? … not just another ‘dime-a-dozen’ revenge fantasy … complex, tightly woven, and emotionally intense … every part of the plot is carefully planned for maximum engagement … more than once, I set out to read a chapter or two before performing some task or other, only to find myself still reading an hour later, so this probably isn’t the best choice of reading material for your lunch break. The ‘just one more chapter’ is strong in this one.

I love this series by Michael Geczi, but then again, I haven’t been disappointed in anything of his … creates wonderful, attention-grabbing action, believable characters, and suspense for days … I defy anyone to see the ending of this book coming … I can’t wait to see what Mr. Geczi has up his sleeve next … I know whatever it is, it will be a winner. I highly recommend this author …this is the second book I have read by this author … he knows how to write them … he knows his audience … would recommend anything this man writes … interesting characters on both sides of the law deal with issues of revenge, minor and major … the reader is brought back and forth in time with chapters that develop each of the several characters as they are affected by revenge … I have read 7 novels by Mr. Geczi and enjoy his always insightful and entertaining writing … unexpected revelations and plot twists keep readers guessing as tensions mount and the story races toward an unexpected revelation that changes everything … readers who enjoy mysteries, police procedurals, crime thrillers, psychological mysteries, and high stakes stories will find much to appreciate in this twisted tale.
