Some exciting news!
Great news! My Serial Killer Anthology universe has grown to four books with the recent release of The Compass Killer. This follows the earlier publication of The Deadly Samaritan; Killer Dead, Victim Alive, and Hunting a Cat in Dogtown.
Just FYI: While Hunting a Cat in Dogtown is a sequel to Killer Dead, Victim Alive, my new book reaches all the way back to The Deadly Samaritan (the first book, which was based in 1992) and blends its story with Killer Dead and Hunting a Cat. I’m very excited about having the opportunity to tie things together.
Some additional information. Of the three previous books in the anthology, Killer Dead, Victim Alive is the most popular with readers. And they really like the two main characters — Lieutenant Nichols and Sergeant Granger — along with Granger’s partner, Gwen.
You know what? I’m very fond of them as well. That’s why they are in the new book, even in non-major roles.
At the other end of the spectrum, there’s good old Chrissy Weeks, who generates a lot of comments. Those of you who’ve read the book probably have an opinion of her.

And I know what it is!
Anyway, just a quick word about the series. Although each story focuses on a serial killer, the stories are not violent who-done-its as much as they are intriguing why-done-its that explore the psychological motivations and live experiences of the antagonist and protagonists. The stories are about the people and the events that make them who they are. Yes, there’s suspense and mystery, but I think those are secondary to the real stories: the people.
I invite you to read any or all of the books; in fact, all four are available in a single, bundled four-book edition for just $9.99. I think you’ll enjoy them and I’d be very interested in your feedback about the stories and the characters; the reviews tell me readers are enjoying the series. Single books and the bundle set are available on Amazon in ebook, paperback and KU.
Thanks, and I appreciate all your support.
